New York Passes Child Victims Act

(Albany, New York – January 28, 2019) After over a decade of wrangling, the New York legislature has finally passed the Child Victims Act that opens a window of time for persons who were sexually abused as children in New York to file a civil lawsuit. According to Patrick Noaker, New York attorney who has handled over a thousand sexual abuse case across the United States, “This law opens the courtroom doors to survivors of sexual abuse in New York. It has been a long time coming.” “We have been handling child sexual abuse cases in New York for some time and we are ready to file these cases in Court so that our clients can get justice and begin healing,” added Noaker.
