Man alleged in 11/17 that McGeever sexually abused him 1983-1993, beginning when the man was age 14. McGeever reportedly paid the boy to do work around the church, and asked him to help him shower so he wouldn’t fall, and said boy would be sent to foster care if he told. Abuse said to have occurred at parishes in Rockville Centre, Mineaola and Cedarhurst. McGeever died in 1993.
