In 2017, Quinn was accused of sexually abusing two boys in claims submitted to the Archdiocese’s compensation program. One boy was sexually abused as an altar boy from 1990 to 1996, beginning when he was 5 years old. The second boy was sexually abused as an altar boy from 1999 to 2001, beginning when he was 12 years old. Both incidents of sexual abuse allegedly occurred at Our Lady of Mercy Church in the Bronx, where Quinn was assigned from 1983 to 2002. Quinn denied the allegations.
As of November 2017, Quinn was serving as Parochial Vicar at Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Church in Inwood.
