Notes: On July 19, 2012, a man filed a civil suit, alleging that he had been sexually abused by Liguori in 1969 at Cardinal Farley Military Academy in New York. The Plaintiff first reported the allegations to church officials in Orange County, California in 2008. The diocese reportedly found the allegations to be credible, but the Christian Brothers found them ‘without merit’ and took no action against Liguori.
Liguori was President of Iona College in New Rochelle, New York until he retired in 2011. He worked as Associate Vice President and Executive Director of Fordham University’s Westchester campus until July 2012, resigning after the civil suit was filed.
