Convicted 1980 of 4th degree sexual assault of boy 15. Received 21 mo. sentence (probated) and treatment. On sick leave 11/8/80. 1983 suit claimed the Diocese knew that he had received treatment in 1977 for sexual problems before abuse. He admitted in deposition that he had homosexual contacts with several youths in 1977 and that he received treatment then. Suit settled in 1984. Resigned from ministry & Diocese 7/15/86. Died 12/11/95. Named on 12/31/13 Duluth list of priests with credible allegations.
