Abuse History
A 36-year-old cabinet maker from St. Joseph, Minn., filed suit against the Rev. Brennan Maiers in February 1992, charging Maiers had abused him when he was a 9-year-old altar boy. (1992) Brennan Maiers was an assistant pastor in St. Joseph between 1965 and 1968. He reportedly abused a boy in 1966, during his time there. ( 2002)
Fr. Brennan Maiers, 66, who formerly worked in a parish near St. Johns University, apologized directly to a victim. (2002).
