  • February 16, 1996:  Arrested at Blessed Sacrament in Rochester and charged with second-degree abuse for an alleged incident in Steuben County.

Notes:

Arrested 2/96; sentenced to 6 months in prison and 5 yrs probation 5/97 for abuse of 31 yr old mentally disabled man. Already on limited duty because of prior sexual abuse allegations. Sent for residential treatment in 1993. Many other complaints afterhis arrest. In 1999 he was charged with violating probation by having contact with 16 year old boy and was sentenced to 1-3 years in prison. Released from prison in 2002. Involuntarily dismissed from clerical state per 6/7/12 statement from Diocese.
