Lawsuit filed 1993 by 3 victims, one a priest, alleged abuse by McGarvey and William C. O’Connell in 1960s when Plaintiffs were in their teens. Plaintiffs say they were abused between 1/65 – 12/72 when McGarvey was pastor of St. Mary’s Church in Millville. Suit settled 10/93 for total of $384K and dismissed. McGarvey placed on leave in 1993 and later he was permanently removed.
