Batuyong, ordained a deacon in 1983 for the Archdiocese of Chicago, had been working temporarily in Atlanta Archdiocese for about a year when he was arrested 4/93 on IL charges of criminal sexual abuse and solicitation for juvenile prostitution in 1991. Alleged victim was a 15-year-old relative. Extradited to IL where he posted bond before returning to Georgia. Unable to determine final outcome of criminal charges. Laicized 4/96. Died 4/09. Added to Chicago archdiocesan list of clergy with substantiated allegations on 11/28/18.
