Native of Honduras, ordained for the Newark archdiocese. Quietly placed on leave in 2002. Arrested in 2004, charged with abuse of 14-year-old boy in 1999. Pled guilty in 2008. Sentenced to three years probation. Privileges withdrawn. Name became public 9/08 after “confidential” memo from archdiocese to all bishops warning them he had no privileges. Laicization announced 9/3/13. On archdiocese’s list 2/13/19. Multiple victims noted.
