In 9/10 Granstrand announced during services at Our Lady of Mercy that Bergen Co. Prosecutor’s Office had investigated allegations of sexual abuse of young children but that no criminal charges would be filed against him. Father of one man in his 20s told reporters that Granstrand had molested his son and another boy in 1996 and that his son spiraled into drugs and trouble and was currently awaiting prosecution for arson. No information from church. Still active 7/3/14.
